So, Australia is a tad difficult to live in . There! I said it . 

To get a job – I need Australian experience (Im from India ! ) and no one – NO ONE – wants to be the first one to hire me. Infinite loop! Its only been a month that Im job hunting, so wont talk much . Ive been on my feet , giving out resumes! But its just not easy. So the day I feel I have landed something worthy, will definitely write up on do’s and dont’s for those who fly ‘down under’ in the future . 

To whine a little bit more , In a world where CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS are given respect, fame and dignity, a CA student is the one who suffers till the date he/she finds the courage to study enough and become a CA . Then (as Ive heard ) the due respect is given (lets just assume , shall we ? ) 

My result is due in a week. Desperately praying to be one of the lucky ones . 

Anywho, till the time I get there , I decided to try my hand at various other jobs, in order to gain some experience because obviously I wont get hired for my dream job without “local Australia experience “. 

So far, I have tried entry level positions in retail ( I sucked, really badly) and Sales . I couldn’t continue either of them ! But soon I will find my passion I swear🤔 

In retail the issue was that it was a small thrift shop working on donations, so I just couldn’t bear the touch of freshly bought donations! It was just unhygienic. You never know where that stuff has been .  No offence to the people who do it. But yea, suggestion is put on gloves at all times. Another issue is (being from india) , TIMELINESS is not my best suit, and I was scolded for being late by exactly 5 mins . What I learnt from the whole process is the way of working in Australia is different! Work is a priority the minute you commit your time to something. Mental note- Be punctual . 

Anyway, work can challenge you at all times! But I wont quit again thats for sure.  Facing the fear is not just a saying, it’s something we all have to do at certain points of lives. This is my particular difficult phase!
